These terms explain use of our website and how the information here relates to your project. Your signed agreement and written warranty define the work we undertake for you, subject to applicable law.
Using this website
This website provides information about CarpentryBoys Inc.’s general contracting services for homeowners and businesses. Please use it lawfully, provide accurate enquiry details and do not attempt to disrupt the site, access restricted systems or submit malicious content.
Enquiries, estimates and project agreements
Sending an enquiry or requesting a quote does not book construction work or create a construction contract. Your written project agreement sets out the scope, pricing, materials, responsibilities, schedule and payment milestones. General website descriptions and pricing guidance are not a project-specific quote. Review the written agreement before authorizing work.
Milestone payments
We do not require an upfront construction deposit. Charges for permit drawings are handled separately. Construction payments are tied to agreed milestones and collected after the work for each milestone is completed. Your written agreement sets out those milestones and the applicable amounts.
Changes to the work
Changes to the agreed scope are documented and priced before the changed work proceeds. The written change identifies any effect on cost, timing and payment milestones and requires your approval. Please discuss requested changes with our team so the project documents remain current.
Scheduling and permits
Project timing and permit responsibilities are confirmed in the written agreement. Approval times, material availability and conditions discovered on site can affect the schedule. Any necessary adjustment should be discussed and documented. General information on this website does not replace site-specific assessment or the requirements of your municipality.
Photos, articles and third-party content
Project photographs and design-inspiration images help explain our services. Images identified as stock or inspiration are not presented as completed CarpentryBoys projects. Articles provide general information rather than project-specific professional advice. External links, Instagram content and Google reviews are provided by third parties and may change or become unavailable. Do not reproduce site content without permission from its rights holder unless permitted by law.
Your rights and these terms
These website terms do not replace your written project agreement or limit rights and remedies that apply under law, including applicable Ontario consumer-protection rights. Cancellation rights depend on the agreement and the circumstances in which it was made; contact us promptly if you wish to cancel or discuss a concern. Updates to this page do not amend an existing signed project agreement.
Warranty
Our 2-year material and workmanship warranty begins at project completion and is subject to its written scope, conditions and claim procedure. Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
